Sterling silver hiker bracelet. All hand-forged from sterling silver, this piece has so much detail, and is perfect for the hiker out there who wants a wearable reminder of what they love to do most.
The design has been hand-drawn and then the silver deeply etched with a hiker trekking the moutain path. The silver has been hammered, textured and distressed, and a hand-forged chunky bail soldered on, before being oxidised, brushed and given a final light polish for just a subtle shine. A hand-stamped charm dangles from the side, stamped with crossed arrows and compass bearings – symbols of camaraderie and direction, reminders of the joys the trail holds. Another delicate charm hangs from the end of the chain, hammered to catch the light.
This solid sterling silver bracelet has a wonderfully tactile feel, and is fully adjustable to 8″ long. Simply fasten the catch at the point that suits your wrist. It looks beautiful alone or layered with other pieces.
This piece has been made with the adventurer in mind. The silver is chunky yet still light and comfortable to wear, the chain is strong, and all loops are soldered for strength. This is the perfect piece to take on your adventures with you; it’s no delicate wallflower.
Perfect to wear on your hikes, and also at the 9-5 grind while you’re daydreaming about what you’d rather be doing. A reminder of who you really are at heart.
The inspiration for this design comes from my absolute favourite John Muir quote:
“Climb the mountains and get their good tidings, Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.”
