Sterling Silver Moonlight Forest Necklace

“SHE WAS THE TYPE TO FALL IN LOVE WITH THE MOON, AND EVERYTHING THAT WAS BEAUTIFULLY UNREACHABLE”

Sterling silver moonlight forest pendant necklace.

This sterling silver pendant measures approximately 3/4″ square. A crescent moon and forest silhouette stands proud. Brushed and oxidised, then given a light polish on the raised relief image to highlight the details. It hangs from a lightly oxidised sterling silver chain in your chosen length. All loops are soldered for strength.

A delicate, yet strong, everyday piece, perfect for layering with chokers and/or longer necklaces.

The moon has long been a symbol for immortality, enlightenment and the dark side of Nature herself. Moonlight is the middle ground between the light of the sun and the darkness of night, the realm between the conscious and the unconscious, a symbol of the soul, and one’s own capacity for reflection.

As each piece is made individually by hand, there may be very slight differences in each piece, as seen in the photos. This makes yours, in some small way, as unique as you are.

Part of my “Wild Earth” collection, a celebration of the natural world, its landscapes and wild inhabitants. These pieces are created as a reminder that there is no better designer than Nature, and to find enough beauty to fill the soul, we need only look around us.

Designed and lovingly created in my studio in Moray, Scotland.

I work in sterling silver, ancient bronze, copper and brass, with natural semi-precious gemstones. I make pieces which are perfect for layering together, mixing and matching, so you can grow your collection and choose your pieces according to your mood, or the inspiration you want to gain that day.

Each piece is unique. Whilst I may create similar pieces, as every piece is made individually by hand, no two will ever be the same. I am registered with Edinburgh Assay Office for precious metal work.
