Solid Silver Bee Pendant
“SAVE THE BEES”
Solid sterling silver bee pendant, on a sterling silver chain.
This beautifully-detailed large bee pendant measures approximately 7/8″ wide by 3/4″ tall, and is created from solid sterling silver. She has a wonderfully weighty, tactile feel. Oxidised to highlight all the incredibly realistic detailing, she buzzes around your neck on an oxidised sterling silver chain in your chosen length. Perfect for any bee lover.
One of my favourite things to do is sit quietly in the garden watching the bees. Listening to their busy buzzing never fails to bring peace and calm to the chaos of the day. My studio garden is filled to the brim with pollen and nectar rich plants, to help the bees and all their pollinating pals, and my life is made all the richer for this.
Simple ways to help the bees:
- Fill your garden with a variety of plants that offer both pollen and nectar.
- Embrace dandelions, a great early spring meal for bees.
- Provide a shallow water dish filled with pebbles so the bees can get a drink.
- Don’t use harmful pesticides.
- Leave fallen leaf litter and plant stalks over winter to provide a safe, cosy habitat.
Hallmarked on the back by the Edinburgh Assay Office, these solid silver bee pendants are strictly limited in availability. Grab one while you can!
Part of my “Wild Earth” collection, a celebration of the natural world, its landscapes and wild inhabitants. These pieces are created as a reminder that there is no better designer than Nature, and to find enough beauty to fill the soul, we need only look around us.
Designed and lovingly created in my studio in Moray, Scotland.
I work in sterling silver, ancient bronze, copper and brass, with natural semi-precious gemstones. I make pieces which are perfect for layering together, mixing and matching, so you can grow your collection and choose your pieces according to your mood, or the inspiration you want to gain that day.
Each piece is unique. Whilst I may create similar pieces, as every piece is made individually by hand, no two will ever be the same. I am registered with Edinburgh Assay Office for precious metal work.
