Sterling silver crow pendant.
I am fortunate to have several friendly crows living nearby, who are always happy to see me and accept the occasional peanut. This is my homage to them, my feathered friends.
This hand-forged sterling silver crow pendant measures approximately 1.25″ tall. Created from chunky recycled silver, it features two chatty crows, standing proud from a darkly oxidised background. Brushed to highlight all the details, and then given a gently polish for a subtle shine, it has a wonderfully tactile feel.
A nice weight, this pendant hangs from a chunkier, sturdy, oxidised sterling silver chain, making it perfectly unisex – equally great for any gender. Pendant loops are soldered for strength.
There is a wealth of mythology surrounding crows in numerous cultures. For the ancient Greeks, the crow was a symbol of Apollo in his role as god of prophecy; a symbol of good luck and communication. In some cultures, seeing a crow means hope for the future and that the heart’s true wishes will be fulfilled, while some Native American cultures see the crow as a wise adviser and protector.
Let this totem crow necklace be your own personal guardian. May the crows speak wisdom, encouragement and courage to you when you wear it.
Please note, each piece is individually hand-forged by me. No machine processes, just two hands, traditional tools and a whole lot of love. There may therefore be very slight differences in each piece, making yours, in some small way, unique to you.
