Soaring Shaman Necklace
“NOT ONLY DID SHE RISE ABOVE, SHE SOARED”
The Shaman. Bringer of peace; healer of soul and spirit.
Rustic sterling silver “Shaman” pendant necklace, set on a sterling silver chain.
This Shaman pendant measures approximately 1″ tall. The Shaman is etched deeply into the textured silver, as if a petroglyph carved into a rock face. Oxidised, hammered and distressed for an aged sandstone look, this is a wonderfully tactile piece, and hangs from a lightly oxidised sterling silver belcher chain. All loops are soldered closed for strength. This piece is also great for layering with longer pieces, and is perfectly unisex, equally befitting him or her.
This design has so much movement, a tangible feeling of flight, freedom and joy. Wear it when you need to set your soul free from whatever, or whoever, tries to drag you down. Let it call to mind the feeling of wind in your hair, sun on your face, and the pure joy of a life yet to live. Let yourself soar.
As every piece is made individually by my own hand, there will be very slight differences in forging which will make yours unique to you, in some small way.
Part of my “Warriors & Relics” collection, inspired by ancient petroglyphs, talismans and totems. Elegant yet rugged pieces that could have been forged in fires thousands of years ago and only recently unearthed. These pieces represent strength and endurance, not just in the physical realm, but an inner strength to keep you focused forward to where you need to be.
Designed and lovingly created in my studio in Moray, Scotland.
I work in sterling silver, ancient bronze, copper and brass, with natural semi-precious gemstones. I make pieces which are perfect for layering together, mixing and matching, so you can grow your collection and choose your pieces according to your mood, or the inspiration you want to gain that day.
Each piece is unique. Whilst I may create similar pieces, as every piece is made individually by hand, no two will ever be the same. I am registered with Edinburgh Assay Office for precious metal work.
