Sterling Silver Shaman Necklace

“I AM SUNLIGHT, SLICING THE DARK”

The Shaman. Bringer of peace; healer of soul and spirit.

Rustic sterling silver “Shaman” necklace, set on a substantial, lightly oxidised, sterling silver chain.

The sterling silver pendant, including loop section, measures approximately 1 5/8″ tall. A mystical petrogylph Shaman, or medicine man, is etched deeply into the silver, as if carved into a rock face. Selectively oxidised, hammered and distressed for an aged, ancient look, this is a substantial and tactile piece, and hangs from a lightly oxidised 30″ sturdy sterling silver belcher chain. All loops are soldered closed for strength. At this length, and with no clasp, it can be easily put on over the head – perfect for when you’re in a hurry. This piece is also great for layering with shorter pieces.

Wear this Shaman necklace when you need to find your inner peace, and to remind you to always keep your face to the sun, with the shadows behind you.

As each piece is individually made by my hand, there will be very slight differences in forging, which will make yours, in some small way, unique to you.

Part of my “Warriors & Relics” collection, inspired by ancient petroglyphs, talismans and totems. Elegant yet rugged pieces that could have been forged in fires thousands of years ago and only recently unearthed. These pieces represent strength and endurance, not just in the physical realm, but an inner strength to keep you focused forward to where you need to be.

Designed and lovingly created in my studio in Moray, Scotland.

I work in sterling silver, ancient bronze, copper and brass, with natural semi-precious gemstones. I make pieces which are perfect for layering together, mixing and matching, so you can grow your collection and choose your pieces according to your mood, or the inspiration you want to gain that day.

Each piece is unique. Whilst I may create similar pieces, as every piece is made individually by hand, no two will ever be the same. I am registered with Edinburgh Assay Office for precious metal work.
