Pyrite Bark Necklace

Inspired by long walks in the woods, this rustic sterling silver and pyrite bark necklace has been carefully designs and textured to resemble the organic beauty of tree bark.
The sterling pendant, including sterling loop section, measures approximately 1.5″ long. Lightly oxidised to highlight the texture, this is a substantial and tactile piece, and hangs from a softly glittering 27″ strand of earthy natural golden pyrite gemstones. At this length, and with no clasp, it can be easily put on over the head – perfect for when you’re in a hurry. This piece is equally at home with a little black dress or your favourite comfy jeans.
Wear it as a reminder not to sweat the small stuff. Rise above, let yourself shine, and keep your eyes on the forest, not on the trees.
Part of my “Organics & Textures” collection, inspired by the natural world and the shapes and textures we see around us every day. Tree bark under the hand, sandstone underfoot, patterns on a leaf catching the eye. These pieces represent an emotional connectedness to the natural world. We evolved in nature, it is in our DNA. As busy lives force us to spend less time in it, it is important to carry a reminder of what majesty is out there waiting for us.
