Long Leaf Necklace
Sterling silver long leaf necklace.
This substantial silver leaf pendant measures approximately 2.25″ long. Entirely hand-forged and sawn from sterling silver, it has been imprinted with a detailed leaf texture, selectively hammered to breath life to the edges, oxidised to highlight the detailing, brushed and then polished for just the right amount of shine. The back has been stamped with the quote “LET NATURE’S PEACE IN, inspired by my favourite John Muir quote:
Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.
Organic and earthy, yet elegant at the same time, this is a classic piece you will want to wear every day.
Solid and tactile, the leaf pendant hangs from an oxidised sturdy 30″ sterling silver belcher chain. At this length, and with no clasp, it can be easily put on over the head – perfect for when you’re in a hurry. All loops have been soldered closed for strength and durability.

Please note, each piece is individually hand-forged by me. Two hands, traditional tools and a whole lot of love. There may therefore be very slight differences in each piece, but this means that yours, in some small way, will be entirely unique to you.
Part of my “Organics & Textures” collection, inspired by the natural world and the shapes and textures we see around us every day. Tree bark under the hand, sandstone underfoot, patterns on a leaf catching the eye. These pieces represent an emotional connectedness to the natural world. We evolved in nature, it is in our DNA. As busy lives force us to spend less time in it, it is important to carry a reminder of what majesty is out there waiting for us.

I work in sterling silver, sometimes accented by other metals or with natural semi-precious gemstones. I make pieces which are perfect for layering together, mixing and matching, so you can grow your collection and choose your pieces according to your mood, or the inspiration you want to gain that day.
Each piece is unique. Whilst I may create similar pieces, as every piece is made individually by hand, no two will ever be the same. I am registered with Edinburgh Assay Office for precious metal work.
