Bat Wing Pendant

Sterling silver and ancient bronze hand-forged bat wing pendant.
This mixed metal bat wing pendant measures approximately 1 & 1/4″ tall and 7/8″ wide. The sparkling silver-dust fused surface has been darkly oxidised and brushed to accentuate the polished bronze bat wing.
This piece has a wonderfully tactile feel, and such an air of mystery and magic. It shimmers and shines, and hangs from an oxidised sterling silver chain, in your chosen length. All loops are soldered for strength.
Each piece I create is individually handmade. Just two hands, traditional tools and a whole lot of love.
Part of my “Organics & Textures” collection, inspired by the natural world and the shapes and textures we see around us every day. Tree bark under the hand, sandstone underfoot, patterns on a leaf catching the eye. These pieces represent an emotional connectedness to the natural world. We evolved in nature, it is in our DNA. As busy lives force us to spend less time in it, it is important to carry a reminder of what majesty is out there waiting for us.

I work in sterling silver, ancient bronze, copper and brass, with natural semi-precious gemstones. I make pieces which are perfect for layering together, mixing and matching, so you can grow your collection and choose your pieces according to your mood, or the inspiration you want to gain that day.
Each piece is unique. Whilst I may create similar pieces, as every piece is made individually by hand, no two will ever be the same. I am registered with Edinburgh Assay Office for precious metal work.
