Crow Landscape Necklace
LOOK, UP AT THE SKY. THERE IS A LIGHT, A BEAUTY UP THERE, THAT NO SHADOW CAN TOUCH
This silver crow landscape pendant is created from layers of hand-sawn sterling silver. A crow soars over the mountains as the sun shines above. Each tiny element is sawn and shaped by hand, before being soldered together to create a miniature wearable landscape.
As each teeny piece is created by hand, there will never be another exactly the same. Yours will be unique to you. (You will receive the piece shown in the first photo. The other pendants shown are available separately.)
The pendant measures approximately 1 & 1/8″ in diameter. It has been oxidised to highlight all the detailing, and given a contemporary brushed satin finish, which subtly sparkles in the light. All loops are soldered for strength. It has a wonderfully tactile feel, and hangs from a lightly oxidised ‘fine’ or ‘sturdy’ sterling silver belcher chain, in your chosen length. The fine chain is suited to those who like their chains simple and delicate; the sturdy chain is a chunkier version, for those who like their chains more rugged and durable. The difference between the two chains can be easily seen in the photo of the pendants on the hand.
A talisman for joy and freedom. May you feel the sun on your face and the wind in your hair whenever you wear it.
Part of my “Landscapes” collection, a celebration of nature, its landscapes and wild inhabitants. These miniature landscapes are created to remind you of favourite places; maybe those you’ve visited in the past, or those you long to visit in the future, or maybe those that surround you every day.
Designed and lovingly created in my studio in Moray, Scotland.
I work in sterling silver, sometimes accented by other metals or with natural semi-precious gemstones. I make pieces which are perfect for layering together, mixing and matching, so you can grow your collection and choose your pieces according to your mood, or the inspiration you want to gain that day.
Each piece is unique. Whilst I may create similar pieces, as every piece is made individually by hand, no two will ever be the same. I am registered with Edinburgh Assay Office for precious metal work.
