Description
Sanskrit OM Pendant
Sterling silver pendant with the Sanskrit symbol for OM or Peace.
This petite solid sterling silver pebble pendant measures just under 3/4″ in diameter. The pendant has been hand-stamped, hammered and distressed for an aged, ancient feel, and oxidised to highlight the detailing. A wonderfully tactile piece, with a nice weight, it hangs from an oxidised sterling silver chain in your chosen length.
The sound of OM is believed to be so powerful it can bring peace and perfect clarity to the mind. It is often chanted to invoke spiritual guidance and attain inner peace. It is also said to help purify the physical body by increasing prana or life force energy.
This pendant is designed to bring peace and calm to the wearer. A simple, tactile piece to be worn every day, it is comforting to touch and hold. May it help you to attain (and retain) your inner peace, no matter the circumstances you find yourself in.
All my designs are individually handmade and hand-stamped. There will be very slight differences in forging which will make your pendant, in some small way, unique to you.
Part of my “Warriors & Relics” collection, inspired by ancient petroglyphs, talismans and totems. Elegant yet rugged pieces that could have been forged in fires thousands of years ago and only recently unearthed. These pieces represent strength and endurance, not just in the physical realm, but an inner strength to keep you focused forward to where you need to be.
Designed and lovingly created in my studio in Moray, Scotland.
I work in sterling silver, sometimes accented by other metals or with natural semi-precious gemstones. I make pieces which are perfect for layering together, mixing and matching, so you can grow your collection and choose your pieces according to your mood, or the inspiration you want to gain that day.
Each piece is unique. Whilst I may create similar pieces, as every piece is made individually by hand, no two will ever be the same. I am registered with Edinburgh Assay Office for precious metal work.
