The world can sometimes seem a dark place, lacking in light and warmth. Trials come our way, and we can feel hope and strength seeping away. At these times, more than ever, we need to look for the good in each day, to appreciate small gestures, to see beauty in the simplest of things, to keep seeking the light that seeps through the cracks and illuminates the darkness. This need to find solace, light, hope, beauty, no matter life’s trials, is the basis for this collection.

Each piece of jewellery is created by hand from sterling silver and 18ct gold. The darkly oxidised silver represents life’s struggles, but the golden light seeps in, around the edges, through the cracks, bringing hope and illuminating the way. There is always a glimmer, if we seek it out, if we let it in.

These are tactile pieces to hold onto for comfort and positivity; a visual reminder that the light IS always there if we seek it, if we allow ourselves to see it.

All pieces are one of a kind, and are assayed and hallmarked by the historic Edinburgh Assay Office. May they bring you light and warmth when you need it most.
