Long Sterling Silver Petroglyph Necklace

Rustic spirit guide, or medicine man, sterling silver petroglyph necklace, set on a long 28″ sterling silver chain.
The sterling silver pendant, including large loop section, measures approximately 2″ tall. A mystical petrogylph Shaman, or medicine man, is etched deeply into the silver, as if carved into a rock face. Lightly oxidised, hammered and distressed for an aged look, this is a substantial and tactile piece, and hangs from a strong, lightly oxidised, 28″ sterling silver belcher chain. All loops are soldered closed for strength. At this length, and with no clasp, it can be easily put on over the head – perfect for when you’re in a hurry. This piece is also great for layering with shorter pieces.
Shamans or medicine men are some of the most common petroglyphs, and are found at petroglyph sites around the world, in various forms and shapes. Believed to walk the barrier between the spirit world and the human world, they bring balance, healing and re-birth.
A meaningful everyday piece, designed to remind you that every day is a new day, to do with what you will. It is never too late to start again.
Every piece is individually handmade by my two hands, and so there may be very slight differences in forging. This will make your necklace, in some small way, as unique as you.

Each piece is unique. Whilst I may create similar pieces, as every piece is made individually by hand, no two will ever be the same. I am registered with Edinburgh Assay Office for precious metal work.
