Sterling Silver Shaman Necklace

“I AM SUNLIGHT, SLICING THE DARK”

The Shaman. Bringer of peace; healer of soul and spirit.

Rustic sterling silver “Shaman” necklace, set on a substantial, lightly oxidised, sterling silver chain.

The chunky sterling silver Shaman pendant, including loop section, measures approximately 1 5/8″ tall. A mystical petrogylph Shaman or medicine man, is etched deeply into the silver, as if carved into a rock face. Selectively oxidised, hammered and distressed for an aged, ancient look, this is a substantial and tactile piece, and hangs from a lightly oxidised 28″ sturdy sterling silver belcher chain. At this length, and with no clasp, it can be easily put on over the head – perfect for when you’re in a hurry. As each one is made individually by hand, there will be very subtle differences, making each one more special in its own uniqueness. This Shaman necklace design is also great for layering with shorter cave art pieces.

Wear it when you need to find your inner peace, and to remind you to always keep your face to the sun, with the shadows behind you.

As each piece is made individually by my hand, there will be very slight differences in forging, which will make yours, in some small way, unique to you.

Part of my “Warriors & Relics” collection, inspired by ancient petroglyphs, talismans and totems. Elegant yet rugged pieces that could have been forged in fires thousands of years ago and only recently unearthed. These pieces represent strength and endurance, not just in the physical realm, but an inner strength to keep you focused forward to where you need to be.

Designed and lovingly created in my studio in Moray, Scotland.

I work in sterling silver, ancient bronze, copper and brass, with natural semi-precious gemstones. I make pieces which are perfect for layering together, mixing and matching, so you can grow your collection and choose your pieces according to your mood, or the inspiration you want to gain that day.

Each piece is unique. Whilst I may create similar pieces, as every piece is made individually by hand, no two will ever be the same. I am registered with Edinburgh Assay Office for precious metal work.
