Asymmetric Sterling Silver Hand Earrings

Asymmetric sterling silver petroglyph hand print earrings.
Two sterling silver hoop earrings, one with a dangling petroglyph hand print drop, create asymmetric earrings which are bang on trend. The imprint of the petroglyph hand is etched deep into the silver. Lightly oxidised, hammered and distressed for an aged look, then polished back to a subtle shine, these could have been recently unearthed.
The sterling circle loops measure approximately 1/2″ in diameter. The longer earring measures approximately 1 3/4″ from top to bottom.
These rustic, unique, asymmetric earrings can also be mixed and matched with other pieces such as simple sterling stud earrings, to give you many different looks. Light and comfortable to wear, these are delicate enough for everyday wear, yet striking enough to make an impact.
Hand prints are one of the most common petroglyphs, and are found at petroglyph sites around the world. They were used as a way for a person to say “I am here” and to leave a part of their spirit and presence at a particular place. Hands with a spiral are believed to denote healing.
Wear these totem hand earrings as a constant reminder of being in the now, rather than dwelling on the past or concentrating too much on the future.
