Textured Moon Necklace
Sterling silver textured moon pendant.
Hand-forged from sterling silver, the texture is created by fusing recycled sterling silver particles on top of solid sterling silver. The fused silver creates wonderful movement. Mountains and valleys play with light and shade to recreate the surface of the moon above. Oxidised and lightly polished to highlight all the detailing, it looks rough and raw, but feels smooth. Created in fire, no two pieces can ever be the same.
The pendant measures 7/8″ in diameter, and is set on a lightly oxidised 18″ sterling silver rope chain.
As each piece is made individually, there will be slight differences in each one. Yours will be unique to you.
Part of my “Fusion” collection, inspired by how all moments in your life come together to make you whole. I love being able to fuse separate metals together to create a completely new, and whole, piece. Due to the fusing process, each one is unique. It can never be replicated, just as every moment of your life is unique. These pieces represent those individual moments in your life that you need to remember, to keep close, as they will never come around again.

I work in sterling silver, sometimes accented by other metals or with natural semi-precious gemstones. I make pieces which are perfect for layering together, mixing and matching, so you can grow your collection and choose your pieces according to your mood, or the inspiration you want to gain that day.
Each piece is unique. Whilst I may create similar pieces, as every piece is made individually by hand, no two will ever be the same. I am registered with Edinburgh Assay Office for precious metal work.
