Large Bronze Hoop Earrings

Organic ancient bronze and sterling silver mixed metal hoop earrings.
Ancient bronze large hoops dangle from smaller sterling silver loops. Hand forged, hammered and distressed for an organic ruffled look, then gently polished to bring out the shine, they hang from sterling ear wires and sway gently with your movement. Light to wear, but substantial to look at, these organic beauties measure approximately 3″ from top to bottom (the diameter of the large bronze hoops is 1.75″).
I love the warm rosy tones of bronze against the cool silver. Light yet strong, perfect to wear every day to remind you to walk tall, shine brightly and don’t be afraid to make them all turn and look.
Part of my “Circles & Coins” collection. The circular shape represents my continuous movement between home and the far off places I love, and how both these elements of my life make me whole.
The use of bronze in jewellery goes back as far as recorded history allows us to look. It inspired a whole age named after it. Strong and hard-wearing, it has a wonderful pinkish glow that reminds me of rose gold, only more durable. It is one of my favourite metals to work with.
